For three days from Friday, November 10th to Sunday, November 12th, 2023,
AJI PROJECT will be holding a new project, "READY MADE," at LICHT gallery in Meguro-ku, Tokyo.
In addition to creative director Kenji Ito, AJI PROJECT will also have David Glättli as a creative advisor. READY MADE will be the first step in a new initiative to expand the possibilities of the project.
Many of the stone scraps that are produced during the stonework process have unique shapes. David Glättli found new value in these scraps and has put together a collection of 80 of them.
The AJI PROJECT, which has been selling products made from Aji stone, was a new initiative for the region, but through this READY MADE event, we have once again felt that there is still new potential for the region.
We would like to continue to discover new possibilities to connect production areas and industries to the future, but first we would like everyone to take a look at this READY MADE exhibition.
The venue for this exhibition will be the LICHT gallery in Meguro-ku, Tokyo.
All of the exhibited collections will be sold via auction during the exhibition.
You can participate in the auction online, so even if you can't come to the venue, please visit the READY MADE auction site, which is open only during the event.
